Centrality Secures Cyber Essentials Plus Certification

Centrality, a Microsoft Gold partner, has secured a UK Cyber Essentials Plus certification. The cyber essentials scheme is UK Government-backed and is designed to protect organisations and their data against a wide range of cyber attacks.

Jordan Dunn, Cyber Security Analyst at Centrality, said: “Compliance with this scheme highlights our strong commitment to cyber security. Various laws around the world, like the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), mandate tough standards for data security.

“This certification marks an important milestone for Centrality’s security program, in addition to our existing ISO 27001 and shows our clients how seriously we take our duty to protect their data.”

The full scheme, launched on 5 June 2014, is backed by UK industry bodies, including the Federation of Small Businesses, the CBI and various insurers.
